Exercise for your puppy

Puppies can be highly energetic, and they require regular exercise to stay in shape. A vigorous thirty-to-sixty-minute stroll is usually highly energising for them. If you can't do this every day, make sure your yard has enough room for the dog to run around and play. You may even take your dog to the high school's track for a walk. Some individuals even train their dogs to accompany them on the treadmill. This will provide you with some quality time together as well as some beneficial exercise.

Examine your dog's requirements and devise an exercise programme that will benefit both of you. A young puppy may want to sprint, but an adult dog may choose to take a leisurely walk. For around 15 minutes, start with pups. As they become older and stronger, gradually increase the time to an hour. Use fluorescent clothing if you want to walk at night so that drivers can see you on the side of the road. You can also dress in light-coloured apparel. Soon before or right after your puppy eats is the greatest time to exercise them. Provide him with little amounts of water as well, as a full stomach may cause him discomfort.

Check the animal's paws when you get home to make sure nothing is lodged in them. Glass, burrs, ice, and rocks can all be thrown away right away. It's also a good idea to teach your dog how to play "Fetch." Begin by rolling a toy a short distance away and allowing the puppy to retrieve it. Increase the distance you throw the item for him as he gets older. When he goes grab the toy and returns it to you, always praise him.
